Nature Republic Hual and Review

Hi, my name is Cindy. As this is first time blogging, I hope that my blog will progress over the years. I know its been a while since I bought this but I didn't really have the time to blog and write my review. It is another skincare line called Nature Republic, similar to Faceshop and Etude House. These Korean cosmetic stores have been popping out in NYC a lot lately. Korean wave? perhaps?  I was so excited when this store opened. I have heard of this brand but I never bought anything here. I knew it was time for me to get something here and add it to my collections of skincare. I am sad that I didn't have the chance to take a picture of the store front but here is the address:

Nature Republic Aloe Vera 92% Soothing Gel $5 

The aloe vera was having a deal if you buy 2 you get one free. Me and my friend each bought one. They were about $5 each. I have heard numerous amount of reviews and people having been raving about this product. I decided to give it a try. Since it is getting cooler, I haven't been using it. It has a transparent gel type of consistency, almost like aloe. I guess because it is 92% aloe, right?  I think it is best to use this when summer comes. It gives off a cooling sensation to my skin as I applied it on. When it dries up, my face feels smoother. What's good is that there's a lot of product in it and can be applied throughout the body.

Nature Republic Original Power (Whitening and Lineless Ampoule $12.50

This whitening and lineless ampoule feels like lotion. I didn't notice much of the result. Though the packaging looks really cute on the outside, I didn't like how it was a dropper. It is really hard to get the product out. I thought this would be some sort of oil but it looks like lotion to me.

Nature Republic Complete Control Cream SPF 30 PA++ CC Cream $22

I have tried BB creams and foundation but this is my first time using CC creams. They have different variations and it was hard to choose from. The sales lady recommended this one for me. One thing about CC creams, is that it changes colors when you apply it on your skin. I have saw other reviews about CC creams and I guess they're right. CC creams gives you a whiter face. I think it is best to apply it as a primer and top it off with a foundation. Nevertheless, this CC cream gives me a nice coverage. It also has a SPF of 30.

Nature Republic AQUA super aqua max combination watery cream $15

I needed some cream for the winter and since it was in the promotion list. I decided to give it a try. This cream is different. It is a gel base cream. Hmm, well it does have a gel like consistency but it feels like a cream as you apply it on your skin. I must say the smell from this cream is so overwhelming, I feel like I had cologne on my face. However, it does smell nice but I feel it was a bit too much. The results is okay, it wasn't sticky and my face doesn't feel dry. There's 3 different types of cream depending on your skin type. I got the green one since I have combination skin. The packaging is cute and it comes with a small spatula or spoon. I probably wouldn't buy this again.

I also got some sanitizer, they have some usual "flavors." They were also giving free masks out. I know my pictures are crappy but I will try to invest in a camera where I can take better quality photos.
